We will Provide all the information like iOS Release Date, Compatibility and Features, Read below:
iOS 10 Release Date:
The iOS 10 release date is Tuesday, September 13, Apple announced at its iPhone 7 launch event. But if you can’t wait that long then you can install iOS 10 GM version from here.
(Note: Not Recommended, because it is a beta version and may be having some bugs.)
iOS 10 Compatible Devices:
iOS 10 is coming to only lightning connected iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, means no further update for 30 in connector Phones.
Here is the List of Compatible Devices:
Key Features of iOS 10
Some of the major Features are mentioned below:
1. Raise to wake
Apple redesigned the iPhone and iPad lock screen, Slide to unlock is gone and replaced with simple instructions: “Press Home to open.”
With “Raise to wake” feature, You’ll now be able to view your lock screen notifications just by picking up your phone, without pressing any Key.
2. New Control Center
It once again features four app shortcuts on the bottom (flashlight, stopwatch, calculator and camera app) and moves the fifth element, Night Shift, to a new, bigger spot above the four.
Above Night Shift two larger buttons of AirPlay and AirDrop buttons appear, while Top bar toggles remained unchanged (except for their new blue effect when on).
Thinking about Music Controls? Right swipe dear and here comes the music pane.
3. More Intelligent Siri
Now Our Siri will also associate with Some of the third-party Apps include Uber, WhatsApp, We Chat, Lyft, Skype and Slack. If you enjoy communicating with your phone, this is actually going to more exciting.
4. Siri-influenced keyboard
Apple is now “bringing Siri intelligence to the keyboard“. Quick-type will suggest you the probable answer based on the text received or suggest location and contact details if anyone requesting that on the text.
5. Delete Stock Apps also
New iOS give you permission to get rid of those unwanted default apps like Find Friends, Stocks, Compass or Apple’s email client.
Many people (like me) use third-party apps to replace these defaults, so this small change is great to see.
6. Clear all notifications
Now you can clear all of your old notifications with 3D Touch. Swiping them away one by one is a time-consuming mess in iOS 9.
7. Lockscreen camera and ‘widgets.’
In iOS 10 sliding the lockscreen right (when Control Center isn’t open) automatically transitions to the camera app and if you swipe to the left on the lockscreen then you will see Apple’s Today menu “widgets.”
8. Not Alarm It’s BedTime
In the Clock, a new Bedtime tab has been introduced which helps you to make sure you are getting the right amount of sleep you want and also keeps track of its over time.
This new feature can replace your alarm clock which wakes you by annoying sound and makes you search for the snooze button. BedTime has few built-in wake-up sounds include “Birdsong,” “Early Riser,” and “Droplets,” which are a bit more pleasant and less-jarring ways to be woken up.
The Photos app has introduced a new tab called “Memories,” which automatically picks up some of your best Photos from certain places and time periods to create a short video.
10. Redesigned iMessage
Now you can make your messages or chats much more interactive by some of new cool features like:
- Send Snapchat-style “Digital Touch” messages
- React to individual messages
- Now GIFs directly from your message window
- Send animated emojis and music
- Jazz up your messages with special effects
- Handwrite your message
- Automatically change keywords to emoji
More to come in ios 10
As these are the announced features we are discussing, but after it’s official release we will surely come with some more Features which missed out in the list.
